At Valentines Nursery, we believe that staff are by far the most valuable resource that a child can have.

We ensure that all staff are very carefully chosen to work at Valentines Nursery. Our staff are the key to us being able to offer a high quality provision and therefore each person will undergo a series of stringent interviews and suitability checks before being offered a permanent position, as set out and supported by our policy and procedures for Safer Recruitment.

Valentines Nursery have qualified staff with the right blend of personality and experience, ensuring that our nursery provides a happy, caring and stimulating atmosphere for all. Anyone employed by us must share our values and ethos so that they can deliver our aims and objectives effectively.

Our staff team includes fully qualified and experienced nursery practitioners. The Senior Manager is a qualified teacher with Early Years Professional Status and over 28 years’ experience in Early Years and education. Our Manager is highly skilled and vastly experienced, with a degree in Early Years, supported by a qualified and very experienced Deputy Manager.

We ensure that all of our staff receive quality training and folow a professional development programme that is reviewed regularly to ensure that their skills are continuously being updated. Staff supervisions and appraisals are regularly conducted with the manager to ensure that professional practice is always of the highest quality and that any training needs identified are effectively met. All staff are required to have a DBS check and be registered on the DBS update service, as well as being fully qualified to administer pediatric first aid to young children and babies.
